Bennett to earn $90,000 as Stone's top women's hoops assistant coach
Kathi Bennett will make $90,000 this year in her new job as an assistant with the University of Wisconsin women's basketball team.
Bennett is the highest-paid assistant for any UW women's sport. No. 2 is the Badgers' other new assistant, Oties Epps, who will earn $63,000.
The two combine to make less than the coaches they replaced, though. Donna Freitag made $87,888 and Tasha McDowell earned $81,384 last year.
UW's other assistant, Ty Margenthaler, earned $58,650 a year ago. Coach Lisa Stone made $274,205.
