Beaver Dam native Austin Ehlenfeldt will transfer from the University of Wisconsin to UW-Green Bay, Badgers men's golf coach Jim Schuman said Wednesday.

Schuman said Ehlenfeldt, a sophomore to-be, was looking for more playing time.

"He was having trouble cracking the lineup and I'm thrilled for him to have an opportunity to play somewhere," Schuman said.

UW will replace Ehlenfeldt and departing senior Jeff Kaiser with former Eau Claire Memorial athlete Brady Keegan and fellow incoming freshman Thomas Welk of Bismarck, N.D.

Other than the potential of senior-to-be Dan Woltman turning professional, no other roster changes are expected, Schuman said.
