Former Wisconsin standout Mike Kelley and his father, Tim, watched practice Monday afternoon at the Kohl Center. Mike was there because he wasn't sure how many more chances he'd have to watch the Badgers practice before their Dec. 6 game against Marquette at the Bradley Center. Kelley is the color analyst for that game that will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Kelley, who lives in the Milwaukee area, said he is going to do a bunch of Big East Conference games this season with veteran play-by-play man Mike Gleason. Unfortunately, the Big Ten Network hasn't hired Kelley for any of its games. That's a tough one to figure out.

Former Madison La Follette coach Pete Olson also was at practice Monday.
