Mark Yelovich, a 6-foot-5 freshman forward who is Southern Illinois-Edwardsville's top scorer and rebounder through its first three games, will not play tonight against the University of Wisconsin men's basketball team because of a family emergency.

Yelovich, who is from Mt. Zion, Ill., averages 15.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. A spokesperson for the UW athletic department said the Cougars are dressing just nine players for the game. The Cougars are 1-2. The Badgers are 1-0.
