The surprising Philadelphia Eagles are off to the NFC Championship game and we have visual evidence that former Madison Memorial and Wisconsin Badgers football player Jack Ikegwuonu is enjoying a front-row seat to the surging Eagles' remarkable playoff run.

We dispatched our BadgerBeat spy into the Eagles lockerroom recently and he found Ikegwuonu's locker (see the accompanying photos). You'll note that Ikegwuonu, a fourth-round draft choice who is on the reserve/non-football injury list with a knee injury he sustained during an NFL Draft workout a year ago, is a locker neighbor of Eagles' long snapper Jon Dorenbos.

Ikegwuonu is listed as a cornerback on the Eagles' roster. You can check out his biography on the team's Web site by clicking here.

Obviously, Ikegwuonu won't be able to help the Eagles in their quest to reach the Super Bowl when they play  the Arizona Cardinals in this weekend's NFC Championship Game. But it has to be a memorable experience nonetheless for Ikegwuonu to watch a special postseason unfold as he rehabilitates his knee in anticipation of next season.

And it beats the negative press Ikegwuonu received recently on profootballtalk.com, which has a "controversial" photo of Ikegwuonu from his sister's Facebook page on its site -- the controversy is the photo might have been altered -- and a blog explaining what you are looking at here.
