Former Madison East standout Taylor Walsh scored the game-winning goal to break a four-game losing streak and help the University of Wisconsin women's soccer team post its first Big Ten Conference win of the season.
Walsh, a senior forward, scored with 1 minute, 20 seconds left in the game off an assist from Laurie Nobusch as the Badgers earned a 1-0 victory against Indiana on Friday night at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
Walsh and Nobusch led the team in scoring with seven goals each.
The Badgers (7-6-1, 1-4 Big Ten) outshot the Hoosiers 17-6 in the game, and UW goalkeeper Jamie Klages recorded one shot on goal.
