University of Wisconsin Badgers senior heavyweight Kyle Massey already joined an elite group of UW wrestlers last year when he became just the fifth heavyweight in school history to earn All-America status.

The 2008-09 wrestling season has yet to begin but Massey has already joined another elite group.

On Monday, the National Wrestling Coaches' Association named the lineups for the 43rd annual NWCA All-Star Classic, and Massey will represent Wisconsin by competing against Jared Rosholt from Oklahoma State in the heavyweight bout.

The event takes place Monday, Nov. 24 at St. John Arena in Columbus, Ohio. There will be matches in all 10 weight classes featuring four returning
NCAA champions and seven NCAA runners-up.

Massey is the 18th Badger wrestler in school history to become an NWCA All-Star and the first UW heavyweight. Craig Henning competed at the
event last year at 157 lbs. and he was the first to do so since current assistant coach Donny Pritzlaff in 2001.

Massey is ranked No. 3 in the preseason InterMat/NWCA/NWMA rankings while Rosholt, who finished fourth at the 2008 NCAA Championships, is
slated at No. 1. Massey and Rosholt are two of the top returning heavyweights in the country as the top three finishers from last year all graduated.
