The Wisconsin volleyball team swept Iowa 25-16, 25-23, 25-16 in a Big Ten Conference match at the UW Field House on Sunday.
The Badgers improved to 17-11 overall and now hold sole possession of sixth place in the Big Ten at 7-9.
Wisconsin played without starting outside hitter Brittney Dolgner, who injured an ankle Sunday morning. Sophomore Allison Wack started in place of Dolgner and recorded a career-high 14 digs while adding seven kills and three blocks.
Audra Jeffers led the Badgers with 10 kills, while Caity DuPont and Morgan Salow both added nine kills to the UW offense.
Wisconsin dominated Iowa offensively, putting up 47 team kills and hitting .221. The Hawkeyes had only 25 kills, led by 11 from Aimee Huffman, while hitting .057.
The Badgers travel to Indiana and top-ranked Penn State next Friday and Saturday before returning home to host Illinois and Purdue in its final regular-season matches on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.
